My New Favorite Recipe • Chocolate Chia Pudding







CHOCOLATE CHIA PUDDING,
This whole Recipe is so healthy it's surprising!

The first time I had the delight of purchasing this gorgeous little dessert, I actually had to stop eating it & put it down.

At first, the pudding had deceived me. It was way too sweet, and way too sugary!

I felt like I was putting all sorts of GMO'S & Sugary Chemicals into my body... I just wasn't having it!

I'm really trying to say NO to my sugar addiction lately..

However, craving the sugary yumminess ( & also out of curiosity ), I again, reached over, turned the cup over to it's backside & read the ingredients.


THERE WAS ACTUALLY NO ADDED SUGAR!

NONE!


The sugary goodness was actually from the COCONUT MILK combined with the COCAO, used in the recipe!

The Recipe consists of nothing but pure Super Foods! CACAO, CHIA SEEDS, and COCONUT MILK topped with FRUIT, BERRIES, & MINT! That's it.

Are you freaking kidding me?!?!

This dessert is actually HEALTHY for you! In fact it's extremely HEALTHY for you!

And can I tell you, it's also VEGAN! ♡

Suddenly, I had NO GUILT! This marvelous little treat was able to be enjoyed to it's fullest!

And it's fullest was simply Heavenly! 

It no longer tasted "too sugary"! It was perfect!

Now it was my FAVORITE NEW SUPER FOOD, & FAVOURITE NEW DESSERT, it can even be served as an extra yummy lunch. Not only is it guilt free, it's just that good for you!

In fact, this delight is so HEALTHY, that I'm actually going to BREAK DOWN all the HEALTH BENEFITS for you, right here in this article!

But, First things first...



THE RECIPE

(Makes 4 servings)


CHOCOLATE CHIA PUDDING


• 6 TABLESPOONS RAW COCAO POWDER
• 1/2 CUP CHIA SEEDS
• 2 CUPS COCONUT MILK (OR) ALMOND MILK
• TABLESPOON MAPLE SYRUP  (OPTIONAL)
• 2 CUPS CULTURED COCONUT MILK ( FOUND IN THE YOGURT SECTION)

IF YOU CAN'T FIND COCAO POWDER OPT FOR THE CHOCOLATE CULTURED COCONUT MILK INSTEAD (COCONUT YOGURT), IT WILL WORK JUST AS WELL.






FRUIT TOPPING IDEA #1


• 1 or 2 CUP BLUEBERRIES 
• 1 SLICED BANANA
• BABY COCONUT SLICES






FRUIT TOPPING IDEA #2


• 4 SLICED PEACHES (1 Peach per serving)
• 1 CUP BLUEBERRIES
• 1 CUP BLACKBERRIES
• 1 CUP STRAWBERRIES
• HANDFUL OF TINY MINT LEAVES



DIRECTIONS


• In a mixing bowl, combine the COCAO POWDER, CHIA SEEDS & COCONUT MILK (or) CULTURED  COCONUT.

• Put the contents of the bowl in the fridge and let it set over night, or 12 hours.

• Fill the PUDDING into 2 - 4 separate pudding cups

• Mix the FRUITS & BERRIES into a bowl, and layer them on top of the CHOCOLATE CHIA PUDDING

• Sprinkle with MINT LEAVES (I forgot the mint leaves)

• VOILA! Ready to serve!
